Do your products work with dimmers?
All smart products can be dimmed and controlled using the Smart Life – Smart Living app. All non-smart 220V AC dimmable globes can be dimmed using most dimmers available in the market. All non-smart low voltage dimmable lights require a dimmer compatible with the LED driver used to power the light.
Can your LED bulbs replace halogen bulbs?
All of our LED bulbs can replace Halogen bulbs of the same size.
Do your lights have day/night sensors?
Our lights do not have day/night sensors, however, you can schedule on/off or other features to coincide with the sunrise and sunset times in your location through the Smart Life – Smart Living app.
The exception to this are our Solar Garden Glows which have daylight sensors embedded.
How can I tell the colour temperature of a product?
This is included in the table of product details, next to CCT (which stands for correlated colour temperature.) Our product range includes lights with a single colour through to RGBW (red green blue white) products with a wide variety of colour options to choose from.

Do your smart products work with Zigbee and/or the Apple Homekit?
Our products are not compatible with these systems. They work via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well as with Google Home and Alexa.
Do your lights work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?
No, they only work on 2.4GHz.
Which app should I use to control my products?
You can use the Smart Life – Smart Living App. Take a look at our instructions for installation and use.
Are the last settings saved if there is a power outage or the smart light is switched off using a manual switch?
Yes, the last settings are saved in the case of a power outage or the turning off via a switch.
Your instruction manuals say that I need to switch my Wi-Fi from 5GHz to 2.4GHz to setup and sync my lights with the Smart Life – Smart Living app. How do I do this?
We have setup quick and easy instructions for you on switching your Wi-Fi from 5GHz to 2.4GHZ.
I can’t pair my smart product. What do I do?
Please ensure that you have followed the instructions exactly as written in your instruction manual. These can be downloaded from the relevant product page if you have misplaced these.

Can pairing mode be disabled with your downlights?
The pairing mode cannot be disabled with our downlights.
When the lights are turned on and off once only, they do not go into pairing mode. It’s only when the lights are turned on/off repeatedly (3-4 times) and within a couple of seconds that they will go into pairing mode.
When you turn the lights off, maintain a gap of at approximately 5 seconds between each turn on and turn off to prevent them from going into pairing mode.
LED Strip Kits
Can I cut the strips in the 3m & 5m LED strip kits?
Yes, you can cut the strips of our Smart LED strip at the specified cutting units (every 10cm).
Do your LED strips have a flashing or strobe function?
Our 3m and 5m strip light kits have a variety of modes to choose from, including flash and strobe. You can select these modes on the remote that comes with the product or through the Smart Life – Smart Living app if you have paired the device to this.
Do your LED strips come with white and warm white colours or are the whites created with the red, green & blue (RBG) LEDs?
The White is generated from separate white LEDs and not with the RGB LEDs

Depending on where you are based in Australia, our products generally arrive between 1 – 3 business days following your order.
